Associations for Disability Rights
The Public Relations Office (URP) welcomes and informs disabled tourists to facilitate accessible tourism for all. It collaborates with ASL1’s URP Service and municipal services to provide comprehensive information. A list of volunteer and patient advocacy associations is available at the URP.

Parking
Accessible tourism also involves parking facilities. The Palafiori parking structure, near Piazza Colombo, offers accessible restrooms.
At Piazzale Dapporto (old station area), parking is free for vehicles with a disability permit. Upon exit, contact the staff via intercom, providing the vehicle’s license plate and permit details. Accessible restrooms are available in the adjacent old station premises.
Transportation
Public transportation is managed by Riviera Trasporti (Corso Felice Cavallotti). Some city buses are equipped with access ramps for disabled passengers. An assistance service is available by contacting +39 0184 592709; the service is free for certified disabled individuals.
As of February 2025, disabled residents of Sanremo can request free public transport passes, thanks to subscriptions purchased directly by the Municipality.
Public Library
The building features an access ramp, an elevator leading directly to the premises, and accessible restrooms.
The library offers an online reservation service for audiobooks, cataloged alphabetically and dedicated to blind and visually impaired individuals, allowing the collection of MP3 CDs. A character magnifier is available for users.
Access to services is entirely free.
